Day #67: Saturday, March 16, 2013

Started the day off with some toast and COFFEE OUT OF A BOWL!!!! What a BRILLIANT IDEA!!! It keeps your hands warm...and it is just fun!!! And I have lots of experience...from all my days of drinking the "cinnamon milk" out of my bowl after eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch for breakfast!!!
Musee d'Orsay...I don't know how to put all those special accent marks for French...but we looked at lots of beautiful pieces of art!  Monet is my favorite!  And Kelley is an art history minor, so she was my own personal tour guide!!!
ANGELINA'S=BEST HOT CHOCOLATE IN THIS WORLD...so rich and creamy and chocolatey!!!!  And although this spot is quite touristy, it was definitely a highlight of my time in Paris!
 CHEERS with our hot chocolate!!!
We made friends with these girls sitting next to us who were from London!
Notre Dame!!!
 Then Sacre Coeur.
 Tried my first macaroons!
Had to ask the macaroon lady to take our pic!
Loved the square where all the artists were painting! Sunflowers in honor of our dear friend, Allison Schaeffner!
Gotta love the guy who pops in the background....
Had to have FRENCH fries while in FRANCE, right???!!
Finished the day by sitting on Kelley's bed and watching "Mary Poppins" and drinking some yummy hot tea!  Mary Poppins, you might ask...well, all day I had the line "Jane and Michael Banks" in my head...ya know, when they write the letter for the perfect nanny?  So, we had our minds set on watching it!!!  And it didn't disappoint!!!
