Day #59: Friday, March 8, 2013

I walk through this patio in our apartment complex everyday, and today, I decided to stop and snap a picture.

 After lunch, Meredith and I headed to the mall because she wanted to find some rain boots.

 We went into a store that's kind of like Zany Brainy, and we got the biggest kick out of these "grocery suitcases" for little girls.  Well, they're an imitation of the grocery bags that all the women use here when they grocery shop.  They resemble rolly-backpacks, if you can remember that stage of school supplies...

 I was amazed by the FLAMENCO DRESS section at Corte Ingles!!!

Tried to get a selfie with the Tar Heel flamenco dress...

I NEVER have my umbrella with me...JOKES...and I got POURED ON this afternoon while walking home.  

Maggie is in Madrid this weekend visiting some friends, so it's just the two of us!

After dinner, we looked at lots of her old picture albums.  She loves looking through old pictures, and she especially enjoyed showing me the ones from a trip to Rome she and her husband took over 20 years ago!
