This is our school, EUSA!!! I have class from 9:15-noon and then 17:00-18:20 (5-6:20pm...but they use military time here). My mental math is gonna improve as I am constantly subtracting 12 from numbers to figure out what time it is!
Chloe and I with our Spanish literature teacher, Coro. She is such a dear...and there are only three of us in the class (Chloe, Eric, and me)! CORO TAUGHT FOR TWENTY YEARS AT NC STATE!!! Small world, huh??!! Every class we start out with a "question of the day" in Spanish, of course, and today's question was: "If you could change your name to anything, what name would you choose?"
Mailing a letter....it was part of our homework in our Grammar class to mail letters to each other so we could learn how to use the postal system here in Spain!
BEST PART OF THE DAY: We were finishing up dinner and Cristina told us she had "una sorpresa" (a surprise) for us. She whipped out cinnamon apples, which we had told her are our favorite!! Isn't it funny how the simplest things can make our days??! Very thankful for Cristina (and her yummy cooking)!!!
