Cristina went a little CHOCOLATE-CRAZY at the grocery store yesterday. And she had these chocolate doughnuts out for breakfast this morning! I was one happy camper...
Gotta love a selfie in front of the PERFUME STORE!!! Typical Mary Carr move...I asked my literature teacher the name of her perfume, and today on the way home from class, I sampled it at the "Aromas" store. A little pricy so I didn't purchase it, but you better believe I took advantage of the sample squirts...
A closer look...
This is one of the main intersections I cross every morning when I walk to school. Isn't it funny how, so often, we take for granted our routines. I've only been here a month, and I can already tell how my excitement for being abroad...living and eating and sleeping and breathing in a different country...has worn off. Lord, help me to know that each day is a gift from You. Help us all to remember that you are our Mighty Creator, and allow us to wake up in the mornings with grateful hearts. May we take time out of our days to reflect and give thanks to our Father who enables us to have routines. And though we may be comfortable in our routines, may we never take for granted anything or anyone. For EVERYTHING is a gift from YOU. James 1:17
