AWESOME last Saturday in Sevilla!  Chocolate y churros with Carly!
Went a little crazy at the ceramics store in Triana...
The store owner who took our picture told us to wear these aprons and hold these fans...
Cristina made a special lunch with this yummy yellow cream sauce!
BOXES tonight with Bibiana, Meredith, and Marta!
"When I am afraid, I put my trust in YOU."
These girls have been so welcoming to us!
Our fun table!
Alex cracks me up...
Thank you, Bibiana, for teaching me how to love with His love!
As always, Cristina was up watching tv when I got home around 12:30am!

Day #115: Friday, May 3, 2013

LDOC aka Last Day of Class!!! Gonna miss Fernando!!!  What an example of a sweet man who always wants the best for his students!
Celebrated with Carly and Meredith!
Maggie is in Cinque Terre this weekend, so Cristina and I had an afternoon to ourselves.
Cristina had her bedroom painted, and she calls it her "princess bedroom" because of all the pinks!
Selfie...
My throat has been itching so Cristina gave me some lemon drops!
Had a little afternoon walk and stopped in the one and only BK!!!
SHE NEVER TAKES OFF HER SUNGLASSES....
Went by the pharmacy to pick up some creme for her foot.
What I'm gonna miss about my room: TWEETY BIRD!
The Butterfly...
The lamp that I hit with my arms every morning when I am getting dressed because it hangs so low!
What's wrong with this picture???
IT IS MISSING A PEDAL! Had to do a u-turn and grab another Sevici bike...
Thanks, Dad, for all the drawstring bags!!! I used one this afternoon when I biked to the river!
Went down by the river to read and took these pics:

Before the bottom fell out...
After the bottom fell out...
I WAS SOAKED WHILE BIKING HOME...
PIZZA NIGHT...a new pizzeria opened up down the street and it was THE BOMB!!!
Someone was a little hyper tonight...
Went to a flamenco bar with Matt, Meredith, and Carly!

Day #114: Thursday, May 2, 2013

Just a heads up...lots of cheesey pics coming up...but hey, what do you expect....
This is the table in EUSA (our school) where I usually sit to do my homework~
This afternoon, I received the sweetest email from the older sister of one of my best friends.  Brooke Bitler, Mary Morgan's older sister, studied abroad in Sevilla and lived with Cristina a few years ago...and Cristina was so excited to hear from Brooke!
Cristina holding all our undies and socks...
Thought the sky was especially beautiful this afternoon when I went to meet up with some friends...
Not sure what church this is, but I also thought it was pretty!
My sweet friend, Shoshanna, and I had a little ice cream treat this afternoon.
Shoshanna has a special spark about her, and she always brightens my day!
I went to the Kodak shop to print some pictures...Here I am in line waiting!  The man who works here is SO NICE...and he is always so helpful.  I thought I had saved my pictures to my flashdrive, but of course, it had not saved!  He let me pull up my email and transfer the pictures to his flashdrive...and he had the pictures printed in no time!!! I am so grateful for folks who have patience with my non-technologically savvy self!
I spent time with Tamara, a new friend from church!!
And I accidentally went to the WRONG Burger King (wow, shocker, I went to the wrong place!!)...but thank goodness, she figured out the mistake I had made...and she came to meet me!
MOVIE NIGHT WITH MAGGIE!!!

Day #113: Wednesday, May 1, 2013

Went to a "Barbacoa" with our church friends...
It was in a pueblo named Gines (about 20/30 minutes outside of Sevilla)
...and it was in this big field!
 Lots of fun fellowship!
The boys grilling the meat...
And then we went down the hill and played some soccer!
(Well, I watched because I didn't have my tennis shoes on...)
Others took a siesta...
But my café con leche kept me going strong...well, not for the whole afternoon!!!
(I ended up taking a little nap...why not, right??!)
Then we played UNO!!!!! Let me tell you, there are different rules here!! You have to touch your nose when someone puts down a 4 and you have to put your hand in the middle when someone puts down a 9!  If you're the last one to do those things, you gotta draw a card!! And you rotate cards when there's a zero!! As you can imagine, I was a little slow picking up on these rules...
So thankful for our dear friend, Bibiana (I called her Viviana at first...but quickly learned it's with Bs...), who included us in the Parque Este Barbacoa!!!
She has such a servant's heart, and she teaches me a lot!!!
Pablo (guy in the yellow hat) drove us home! It was a bit of a tight squeeze, but we made it!
We got back to Sevilla around 7:30pm and I headed straight to the Setas (this mushroom structure) because I am writing a paper on it...and I had to go into the Antiquarium (not to be confused with an aquarium)!

You should have seen me snapping selfies in front of this building...
