Annie, we've come a long way...

HAPPY WEDDING DAY TO MY DEAR COUSIN, ANNIE!!!! So sad I can't be in Chapel Hill today to celebrate you and Timmy, but I am so excited for y'all!!!

Took a day trip to Cádiz with sweet Meredith!

Definitely a beach town with these palm trees!

I will never get over all the FRESH SEAFOOD in the markets...

Had a little picnic on the beach and the sun finally came out!

Went to "Boxes" tonight at our church, Parque Este.  

It's kind of like youth group but for college kids!  

We sang "Tu amor nunca falla" aka "Your love never fails."

Met a new friend, Tamara, who is originally from Paraguay.

Bibiana took us home!  She's a little angel!  So THANKFUL for this church that has taken us in and made us feel at home here in Sevilla. 

Day #108: Friday, April 26, 2013

After class, I went to get my Czech money (left over from Prague) changed into Euros...but none of the banks were able to make the exchange.  I think I'm just gonna save it until the airport when I fly home and get it changed into dollars.  

Lord, thank you for once again reminding me of your unfailing love.  We don't have to go to a bank and make any monetary exchanges to have a relationship with you.  Rather, we can go straight to you.  I was reminded of this today with the verses in Romans 5, "We have been made right with God because of our faith.  Now we have PEACE with Him because of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Through FAITH in Jesus we have received God's GRACE.  In that grace we stand.  We are full of JOY because we expect to share in God's glory."  Romans 5:1-2

 Maggie was at the beach today, so Cristina and I had some fun one-on-one time!

The moon was out tonight while I was walking back for dinner, and I just had to capture this typical Sevilla scenery...

Grabbed ice cream with CHENEY!!! She is studying abroad in Barcelona, but she's visiting Sevilla for a few days! How fun to see a familiar face from Chapel Hill!!!

Started the day with a little crepe for breakfast!!!

WE SPENT THE NIGHT IN THE AIRPORT because we flew into Barcelona at 11pm and our flight to Sevilla wasn't until 7am.  I WOULD NOT SUGGEST IT.  Again, one of those things ya just have to do sometimes when you're studying abroad...

And we were in a big group, so we felt safe!!! But believe me, I will be pumped to sleep in a bed tonight!!!
